Let Us Help You Prepare

At Colorado Infectious Disease, our Travel Medicine Clinic is here to prepare you for a healthful journey to innumerable international destinations. We provide travel education regarding vaccinations, prescriptions for traveler’s diarrhea, safe food and drinking water advice, and protecting you and your loved ones against insect bites. We aim to ensure a positive and smooth process that leaves you feeling informed and at ease with your travel.

Scheduling

We suggest that your consultation be scheduled at least 6 weeks prior to travel to ensure enough time for you to obtain all vaccinations. In the event that you need a more expedited appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate your travel needs.

We see patients as young as 13, and we can accommodate up to 4 family members in one consultation appointment. Each member traveling is required to fill out the patient history form and return it to us electronically no less than 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you have travelers under the age of 13, please call us for our recommended pediatric partners.

*Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time

You can return your completed paperwork by either email or fax. Those contact details are as follows:

Our Pharmacy Partner

We work closely with the Porter Hospital Pharmacy to ensure they will have the recommended vaccines available for our patients as the consultations are completed. Some vaccines may be obtained on the same day as your consultation, but some may require special ordering. We will help you navigate getting all of your needs taken care of.

Please note: The majority of insurance plans do not cover travel vaccines, but Porter Pharmacy will try to run your insurance if requested for confirmation of coverage.
