We Can Manage Your HIV TREATMENT or PREVENTION
Our knowledgeable and qualified clinical team at Colorado Infectious Disease Associates is here to support and educate our patients living with HIV as well as those who are interested in preventing HIV. We have several clinical plans available for your unique situation and needs. Please continue below to learn more about how we can best serve you.
HIV Treatment
In addition to oral medication options, we now offer Cabenuva®, an injectable HIV treatment. Cabenuva® is a complete prescription regimen that can replace your current oral antiretroviral treatment (in most cases). An every-other-month injection is given in our office if you are an appropriate candidate. An appointment with one of our clinicians is required to determine what regimen will be best.
If you are an established patient with our practice, simply call our office to request an appointment with your regular provider. If you have never been seen in our clinic before, please call our office to learn more about establishing care. (303) 777-0781
It can be, but we are here to make the process as stress-free as possible. If it is determined that this medication is a good fit for you, our staff will assist with running your insurance benefits as well as leveraging copay assistance programs that are available for this injection.
HIV Prevention (PrEP)
PrEP stands for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, which are effective interventions that have been proven to reduce the risk of getting HIV.
In addition to oral options, we now offer Apretude®, an injectable HIV prevention medication. Apretude® is a complete prescription regimen that can replace your current PrEP treatment plan. An every-other-month injection is given in our office if you are an appropriate candidate. An appointment with one of our clinicians is required to determine what regimen will be best.
PrEP is for persons without an active HIV infection.
